Judd Gregg recommended taking “the good ideas out of the Super Committee, the good ideas out of the Gang of Six, the good ideas out of the Biden Working Group, and use the basic Simpson-Bowles bill, repackage it and put it in a workable plan while communicating very aggressively with Members of Congress so they know what’s going on and don’t think that they didn’t have their fingerprints on it.”
